Where are you, and when are you open?
We are a food truck at 105 Station Road, Sunnybank QLD 4109. We trade every Saturday from 5pm to 9pm. Any closed dates show on the order page and our Google profile.
Can I order ahead?
Yes. Order online, pay by card, and pick up from the truck on Saturday between 5:15pm and 8:30pm. During Saturday service you can also use Order Now on the same page and skip the queue.
Do you sell out?
Yes. We cook one big batch each week, and when the pot is gone, it is gone. Popular items like the Chicken Briyani and brisket can sell out early, so come early or order ahead.
Is your food halal?
Our beef and chicken come from halal certified butchers. We also serve pork, so the truck itself is not halal certified.
What is Chennai-style biryani?
It is a South Indian dum biryani: rice, meat and whole spices cooked together in one large sealed pot, so the rice soaks up the flavour. Read more in What is Chennai-style briyani.
Is it briyani or biryani?
Both are the same dish. We spell it briyani, the way it is often written in Chennai. More on that in Briyani or biryani.
Do you have vegetarian options?
Our menu is built around meat. Vegetarian choices are our chips and drinks.
Can I eat at the truck?
Everything is served takeaway. There are a few tables in the garden, and you are welcome to bring a picnic mat. We have mats to lend too, just ask when you order.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free on-site parking and free street parking, including wheelchair accessible parking.
How can I pay?
Cash, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB), and tap to pay with your phone. Online orders are paid by card when you order.
Do you deliver?
Yes, through Uber Eats during Saturday service.
Do you do catering?
Yes. We cater weekday events on site for 50 to 400 people at $40 a head, including 2 meats, biryani, chips, raita, soft drinks, water and chai. For Saturday parties of 10 or more, we prepare your order for pickup from the truck. See Catering.
