We're a Saturday food stall at 105 Station Rd, Sunnybank QLD. We collect the minimum information needed to cook your order, hand it to the right person, and (only if you say yes) tell you about upcoming Saturday drops. This page explains what we collect, why, and what happens to it, in plain English. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
When you pre-order, RSVP to an event, or contact us, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, and the details of your order (what you ordered, your meat and sauce choices, and your chosen pickup date and time). That's it. We don't collect anything else, and we never ask for more than we need.
Your card details
Payments are processed entirely by Square (Squareup Pte. Ltd. / Block, Inc.), the same company that runs our till at the stall. Your card number goes directly from your browser to Square over an encrypted connection. Your card details never touch our website's servers and we never see them. Why we collect it
Your name and mobile let us match you to your order at the pickup counter and call you if something changes (for example, if an item sells out). Your email is used by Square to send your payment receipt. Your order details go to our kitchen so we cook exactly what you asked for. None of this information is used for anything else without your consent.
Marketing - only if you opt in
At checkout there's an optional, unticked box to hear about Saturday drops and offers. We only send marketing email or SMS to people who have ticked that box (or otherwise clearly opted in). Every marketing message includes a way to opt out, and you can opt out any time by replying STOP to an SMS, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us directly using the details below. Opting out never affects your ability to order.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are held in Square, which retains transaction history as required for tax and accounting purposes. Our website's own admin view shows at most the last 3 weeks of pre-orders; older orders are only accessible to us through Square. Event RSVP details submitted through our website are kept for a rolling 4 weeks and then removed.
Cookies and advertising
Our website uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). It sets cookies and tells Meta which pages you viewed on our site and whether you added items to your cart or completed an order, including the order value. We use this to measure whether our ads are working and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. It does not receive your card details. You can control this through your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, through your browser's cookie settings, or by using an ad or tracking blocker - our ordering system works normally either way.
Who we share it with
We share your information with Square, our payment processor and point-of-sale system - that's where your order and receipt live. Our website is hosted on Netlify, which processes data on our behalf to serve the site. Meta receives website activity data through the Meta Pixel described above. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else, except where the law requires us to.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to records we must keep for tax purposes). If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first and we'll do our best to sort it out. If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
